Purple Hayes School of Kayaking was founded on the principle of good clean fun and has been operating on the Chilliwack River since 1986.

The main goal of the school and its instructors is to introduce people to the joy of kayaking while giving them a safe and fun outdoor adventure.

We offer beginner and intermediate courses with a low student teacher ratio. In our most popular weekend introductory course you will learn the basic strokes and strategies necessary to progress from the classroom to flat water to moving water.
