Come out for an early evening 2 hour paddle on Cultus Lake - you'll be glad you did. Whether you just want to paddle around a lake, gentle river or paddle whitewater, this is a great way to get your feet wet.
This is a brief introduction to paddling a kayak. You will be given some basic information on kayaking and the differences between various kayaks and equipment. We cover basic safety skills and hazard recognition. This course also introduces you to basic paddling skills and techniques.
Get a feel for the boats, gear, and skills used in this relaxed session. If you want to explore the sport further, then the introductory course is the next step for you.
For those of you that are a little timid, please let us know so that we can arrange to use recreational kayaks which have a larger cockpit area and you are not required to use a spray skirt.
